"I am extremely grateful to Dr. Dhanish Mehendirata who was referred by my neighbour for my mother's spine surgery. He successfully performed her spine surgery at her old age of 75 years. His expertise, care, and compassion have greatly improved her quality of life. The entire experience was handled with professionalism and kindness, and I am thankful for his dedication. Highly recommended.Posted on Google Sriram IyengarTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Extremely happy with Dr.Dhanish's surgery on my spine for L5-S1 disk bulge issue. I just couldn't walk due to this issue and surrendered to Dr.Dhanish. His treatment helped me to recover after 3 hours of surgery. I was home next day. He takes care properly during pre and post surgery. Without his treatment, i would have suffered heavily and iam extremely grateful that I consulted and got his treatment on time.A month has passed by after the operation. Iam back to office and as of now not bending or lifting heavy items. A few months of physiotherapy excercises would bring back myself to running mode. Thanks Doctor for the life saver treatment. Would recommend all for consulting him for any spine related issuesPosted on Google maruti bachanattiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very nice dhanish sirPosted on Google Ian BeckwithTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Whilst traveling in India last year I met with Dr Dhanish Mehendiratta in Mumbai to discuss some issues I was having with my spine causing back, neck and shoulder pain. The service he provided me with was thorough and excellent. I was extremely impressed with his Fellowship from Queens Medical Hospital, Nottingham in the UK and his in depth knowledge and excellent character. I returned back to the UK with all his advice and invaluable information, which I passed on to my healthcare professionals. Unfortunately progress was very slow in the UK and my spinal issues deteriorated to the extent where I had severe mobility issues and pain. Last week I contacted Dr Dhanish from the UK via email for further help and advice. The following day he arranged a video consultation with me from Mumbai. Dr Dhanish went out of his way to assist me, and following the video consultation, where we discussed potential options and costs, I flew out to Mumbai. On the day of arrival Dr Dhanish arranged and completed a full set of comprehensive tests. Within 2 days, and with Ambulance transport, I had up to date 3 Tesla MRI Scans, nerve conductivity tests, ECG tests, blood tests and much, much more, which led to progressing me through to urgent major spinal surgery. I was kept informed of progress and support along the way and provided with detailed copies of all the scans and reports. On the second day after arrival I was admitted into hospital, fully appraised of progress and action plans, and provided with a service above and beyond what I had ever dreamt of. That evening I was prepared for surgery which began at 7am the following day. It was a major operation and has fixed extensive problems with my Lumbar Spine and also removed the severe pain I was having from nerves in my cervical spine and right shoulder. The most amazing thing was on the afternoon of the operation, which included titanium implants, with Dr Dhanish's and physio guidance I was able to stand up and begin to walk without the debilitating pain that I had previously been suffering from. I have also been waking up without the horrendous neck and shoulder pain that I had been suffering with for well over a year. I have received amazing care from Dr Dhanish and the hospital and complete range of staff that he has arranged for me. He is still assisting me with follow ups and dressing changes over the next week to make sure that I am safe and confident for my return to the UK. I wish I had contacted Dr Dhanish sooner to have avoided all the pain and suffering I have been through over the last year. The difference he has made for me is already absolutely life changing and it has made a massive difference to my future and the happiness of my family seeing me on the road to recovery and free of debilitating and worsening pain! Meeting Dr Dhanish has been one of the best experiences of my life and I can't thank him enough for his skills, expertise, persona and the new lease of life I have been given.Posted on Google Geeta ShettyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. For a long time, severe back pain was a constant struggle. Following a recommendation, Dr. Dhanish was consulted. His expertise led to a spine injection, and the transformation has been incredible. Now living pain-free, every aspect of life is enjoyed without limitations. Dr. Dhanish's perfect diagnosis and positive approach truly delivered perfect results.
When comparing a spine specialist in Kurla, consider the doctor’s spine-specific qualifications, experience with your diagnosed condition, hospital affiliation and approach to non-surgical treatment. The doctor should also be able to explain the diagnosis, alternatives, potential risks and expected recovery clearly. Advertisements and star ratings should not be the only factors considered.
The most suitable location usually depends on the required day, time and confirmed appointment availability. A Kurla spine consultation is available at Agashe Hospital on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; CritiCare Asia on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday; and City Hospital from Monday to Friday in the evening. Dr. Dhanish Mehendiratta consults at all three locations, so confirm the hospital and schedule that apply to your appointment.
Yes. During a spine assessment in Kurla, Dr Mehendiratta can review MRI, CT or X-ray images obtained from another hospital or diagnostic centre. Bring the original images with the written reports, prescriptions and details of previous treatment wherever available.
Confirm the consulting doctor’s qualifications, exact hospital, consultation schedule and appointment number. A hospital-based spine consultation in Kurla may be available at more than one location, so the hospital name should not be assumed from the locality alone. Also check whether the listing clearly distinguishes between a consultation venue and the hospital where a procedure may eventually be performed.
Not automatically. The location of the spine consultation in Kurla and the hospital selected for a procedure are separate decisions. If surgery is clinically indicated, Dr Mehendiratta will discuss the appropriate procedure and hospital arrangements based on the diagnosis and clinical requirements. Confirm the proposed hospital before planning admission.
The Kurla spine OPD is conducted at three hospitals with different schedules. Confirm the hospital name, consultation day and reporting time when booking rather than relying on a general Kurla search result. Use the hospital-specific directions for Agashe Hospital, CritiCare Asia Multispeciality Hospital or City Hospital & Research Centre.
Patients travelling from Kurla Railway Station, Vidyavihar, Saki Naka, Ghatkopar, BKC or nearby areas should check current traffic conditions and allow sufficient time to reach the confirmed hospital.
